The flowers are finished, the work isn't… and we've got a little secret!
Can you believe it's November already?
First of all, can we talk about this weather? It's been absolutely beautiful! We're soaking up every bit of sunshine we can get because we all know what's coming. I'm certainly not in any hurry to see the snow!
After stretching our flower season as long as we possibly could, we've finally called it.
The Flower Bar is officially closed for the season!
I know, I know. It had to happen eventually.
But don't let that fool you into thinking we're putting our feet up just yet!
The Never-Ending To-Do List
Here's something you might not know about flower farming. Just because the flowers stop blooming doesn't mean the work stops.
Not even close!
We're still out in the field, pulling plants, cleaning up beds, planting bulbs and trying to get everything tucked in before winter arrives.
Somehow, every time we cross something off the list, three more things magically appear.
I'm beginning to think the farm has its own to-do list that it adds to when we're not looking!
But these beautiful November days are making the work a whole lot more enjoyable.
Already Dreaming About Next Year 💐
You'd think after a long growing season we'd be ready for a break from flowers.
Apparently not.
We're already planning, ordering and dreaming about what 2027 will look like.
And one thing I'm really looking forward to is welcoming everyone back to Bloom Club!
Our 2027 Bloom Club Memberships will go on sale in December, just in time for Christmas.
If you've been thinking about joining or you have someone on your Christmas list who loves fresh flowers, this might be the perfect gift.
Because really, who wouldn't love the promise of beautiful, locally grown flowers waiting for them when the warmer weather returns?

Now, I probably shouldn't say too much just yet, but we are working on a little Christmas surprise for the Flower Bar!
Yes, I know. We just finished one season and we're already getting ourselves into something else.
We really can't help ourselves.
I'm keeping the details under wraps for now, but I promise we'll share more soon.
So don't disappear on us just because the flower stand is closed. You might miss something fun!

Before we get too far into Christmas planning and dreaming about next year's flowers, I want to say a huge thank you.
Whether you stopped at the roadside stand once or visited every week, joined Bloom Club, purchased flowers for someone special, or simply followed along with our adventures on the farm, we appreciate you more than you know.
Every season brings its own challenges, surprises, successes and a few moments when we wonder what on earth we're doing!
But getting to share the flowers we grow with all of you makes it worth it.
So here's to a beautiful November, a little more sunshine, and hopefully getting that field cleaned up before the snow flies!
